We absolutely loved our stay in Monopoli! The apartment was extremely clean, beautiful, and so spacious for two people. It truly felt like a home away from home! The kitchen had everything we needed, and having a washing machine was such a convenient bonus. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful private rooftop terrace, which was the perfect place to relax and lounge. We also loved having our own private entrance, although the stairs leading up to the apartment were a bit steep, so we wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the main town and a perfect home base for exploring all that Puglia has to offer. We also had no trouble finding street parking nearby, which was a huge plus since we had a rental car. Overall, everything was wonderful! This was easily one of our favorite stays in Italy, and we would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend!

Ficamos quatro dias no apartamento. Eu, meu marido e um bebê de 7 meses. Ao chegarmos encontramos o apartamento com poeira, chão com pelos e banheira suja. Os anfitriões agiram rapidamente para resolver o problema assim que fizemos a reclamação. A comunicação foi bastante gentil e solicita. Meu único ponto negativo é a falta de vaga próxima ao prédio. Peguei esse apartamento pela descrição de ter vaga de garagem na rua acreditando que havia um espaço reservado aos hóspedes. O que encontramos, na verdade foi uma rua cheia de carros onde se pode parar em qualquer lugar. Como se trata de uma rua movimentada era sempre difícil encontrar vaga na rua. Ou seja: o local não tem vaga de garagem como anuncia. Voltaria, mas não com um bebê e tantas malas pra subir a escada que leva ao apartamento.
Overall a great stay in a beautiful area. The unit was private, clean and bright. The water pressure was not good, and any troubleshooting the host offered did not improve it. The air conditioning unit is in the living room, so the bedroom was warm. You couldn’t open the windows for sunshine or the room would heat up too much. A portable fan would be nice to provide for future guests. Also good to note that the stairs up to the unit are a hike. The shower is also almost a 60cm step up into it. This would not be a good unit for elderly or the mobility impaired. I would still recommend the unit if you were ok with the above mentioned.
